US Masters – Day Four Results

Well what a finish – incredible drama over the entire last round. Wouldn’t have minded who won, but chuffed for Sergio. In our competition, the leader for the first three rounds fell away and Craig won by 9 shots – a bit like Spieth a couple of years ago.

US Masters 2017 – Day Three Update

What a Masters we are seeing – all shaping up for a fantastic final round. Personally I’m routing for Sergio – and after that shot yesterday that clung onto the slope, lady luck may be smiling on him this weekend. Lady luck also shining on Rob Williams who now has a seven shot lead. Still – anything can happen!

US Masters 2017 – Day Two Update

I think everyone has got at least three golfers through to the final two rounds. Mr Williams still leading by six shots – but all to play for!

US Masters 2017 | Excel Spreadsheet

Data science at work this spreadsheet. I have found that the built-in Excel webquery from a website is shit as it works on a really old browser which means that it cannot render webpages to import them. Therefore you need to find a really basic website. Luckily Microsoft have evened it up with their MSN website which still works. Anyway, the spreadsheet is here, i have update the Google Sheets version but it is all too much effort. Anyway here is the spreadsheet.

US PGA 2015 | Final Results

Whilst the final round went according to plan (and well done to Jason Day – very well deserved), the main competition was far more exciting. After a barren period, Terry takes home the sixty pounds with a splendid victory. There was plenty of changes at the top of the table in the final round and I only realised I was third late on!! Anyway, that is it for 2015! Here’s to the Masters! Rugby next thougimageh!

US PGA 2015 | Round One Update

Same old story in terms of the recent Majors – Dustin Johnson fires into an early lead which he will almost certainly blow out of his arse at some point this weekend. Keep forgetting to put him down as first or second round leader on the betting though!!

Anyway, Mr Hughes takes the honours on the first lap – an almost certain kiss of death, but holds a two shot lead from Sam.

Rob has got off to a bad start with Gary Woodland not even making it out the hutch! Carl Pettersen took his place but not in our game – our rules are even tougher than the US PGA rules on allowing replacements practice rounds.

All to play for as always!!
